Information for 2023 Little Leage Parade, Opening Day, Uniforms, and Pictures

Our little league parade is next Tuesday.  Here is the information about the parade, opening day, uniforms, and pictures!

 

The parade will take place on Tuesday, April 18th at 5:30pm. We ask parents to drop kids off at the Old Administration Building (across from the Elementary School) at 5pm. Coaches will gather players into teams to walk in the parade. We will line the teams up and then the parade will start at 5:30pm. A fire truck will lead us as we walk down to the square, once around the square, and then back down to the Old Administration/Middle Building, where parents can pick up their children after the parade. A picture route of the parade is available on the Little League website.

Opening Day/Flag Ceremony: 
Opening day for the season is Wednesday, April 19th at 4:45pm. The Winterset VFW will be performing a flag raising ceremony to kick off the season. Please have your players attend to honor the flag and to hear the playing of the national anthem!

 

Uniforms will be distributed to coaches before the parade starts on Tuesday.  Board members will be out at the old Administration Building beginning at 4:30pm to help pass them out.  Please have players wear their uniform shirts and hats during the parade.
